I think this show got me sympathizing with lawyers cause I was tryna sell my dad on BCSsaying it was Breaking Bad but with lawyers instead of d*** dealing and he’s like “idk who to trust lawyers or d*** dealers, I guess d*** dealers cause atleast they’re honest” and I’m like “damn, that’s the public perception on lawyers?

I’d definitely date a lawyer tho as opposed to detectives cause a lil bad lawyer b**** will see me plottin something bad and be like “no you’re gonna get caught, here’s what you REALLY should do” then we’d be the perfect dream team
A detective will plot against you

I'm so happy Walt's last scene is him being an obnoxious scumbag lmao. Hopefully that makes some people realize he's not this 100% alpha male or whatever

It’s insane people can come off watching Breaking Bad and not see Heisenberg for the piece of s*** he is. Dude stopped being sympathetic in the second season it’s fun to root for him at points in the show yeah but he’s in no way the alpha or whatever

I had a saul type lawyer get me a good behavior deal on my dui

Dude had all kinda dui s and showed up to the meet with a black eye

But I'll be damned if he wasn't buddy buddy with the judge. Even had a hand shake deal with the cops who took me in to testify and gloss over all the foul stuff I said to them that night as "Nothing out of the ordinary foe someone under the influence"

And best part was he cost a third of the usual lawyer rate, which is good cuz the probation and AA stuff was ridiculously expensive, woulda been at least double had I got the dui

There’s one thing I don’t understand, was he planning to get the plea and did all that so he could lower his jail time until the judge mentioned Kim so the moment he heard that Kim turned herself in made him reconsider and decide to sacrifice himself for her? Or was it all part of the plan to go out with a bang?

What I mean is, if Kim hadn’t turned herself in, would he have taken the plea deal? Or was it his intention to turn himself in with a bang and just wanted Kim to be free when he found out she turned herself in?

I believe that the whole point of the finale wasn’t that he confessed for Kim but that Saul finally did the right thing and told the truth. He could’ve gotten away with it and gotten out in 7 years but would’ve continued living the lie he was miserable doing in all those flash forward scenes

Kim was also living a miserable life having to keep up with the lie and once she found out that she can confess without putting Saul in danger she did so she could free herself

Saul is doing the same job in jail he was doing at Cinnabon but is happier because although he’s locked up he’s free not having to worry about getting caught in his lies

I think him learning Kim confessed willing to accept whatever consequence it came with helped him do the same. His confessions just came with harsher consequences

TLDR: Saul “broke good” at the end instead of cutting corners again and taking the easy way out

This being said I can see some of the critiques some have put out and do admit the final few episodes were a bit rushed but hey the series had to end and this the only it could’ve went down with closure. Otherwise he gets out and repeats the same routine

    Good a***ysis

Once Kim confessed and finally “broke” in water works. She was able to finally be free again and be her true self… starting with the volunteering at the law offices

We seen how passionate she was about helping others when she started taking pro bono cases. Yeah she had fun running schemes but she knew it wasn’t healthy for her and she had to eventually grow up

I liked how Saul would confess and look at Kim for approval. Without her saying a word he knew he had to keep confessing to get to where she’s at mentally
