I think the final episiode was a OK ending , i mean this 100 years stuff was way too much, normally lawyers who arent actively involved dont get that much not even nearly.

Then he just accepts it, this also doesnt fit his character. Also the constant change from Saul to McGill to Saul to McGill doesnt quite fit his character at all, and he was Gene as well for some time.
And the money thing and time travel also wasnt the best plotline, somehow they changed his whole character to be around money? He was never about money but more about the rush you get out of it and the possibilities. They made it look like he was obsessed by numbers or something.

And the ending was one of the saddest they could have chosen, he kinda doesnt deserve this ending at all, while Jesse pinkman who actually killed people and actually led to a lot of people's death gets to escape? Walter gets a peaceful ending?

But Saul rots in a damn prison for 68 years while most of the stuff he did was doing lawyer work with a con/money laundering angle in his damn office? ? Also I very highly doubt any of the people in the universe couldve testified against Saul or has any big evidence of most of the hard stuff.

Also what is this Walter White wouldnt have reached anything without me, this was such out of character since he never ever mentioned Walter White before. I know it wouldnt fit, but this was too much being a prequel than being Better Call Saul.

Sad ending . Sad story overall, probably doesnt do him justice

he accepted it bc kim turned herself in that's what changed everything

  • knew jimmy looking back at kim between confessions reminded me of something

i think it was season 2 when saul's tryna get footsy with kim during a meeting with HHM but she doesn't reciprocate it so he keeps talking trying to say what she's looking for

    i liked that

If Walt never met Saul, he wouldn't have met gus. So yeah, Saul is responsible for the show

He’s responsible for a chain of events, not the outcome. Having Marie there as if he has anything to do with hanks death is stupid imo. Jesse was hands on in the creation of walters d*** empire and killed a man. People are ok with him running away from his problems and getting a happy ending though

Is it too unrealistic how Saul got himself down to 7 years?

    Yeah cause Jesse is cool
    So is Saul
    And we have empathy
It’s natural to want cool people to get away with it, even if they do f***ed up s***
But Vince gotta do what’s right for their story

I also felt the money thing felt a bit crowbarred in and not really necessary. It may have worked better if they would had given more info earlier on as to why he became greedy for money and then became 'slipping jimmy'

Loved when Saul was giving his explanation for working for Walt, when negotiating his sentence and they said 'no jury will believe that' and Saul changed his tone and replied 'I only need 1' or something to that effect.

Might be my favorite part of the episode

I thought he was about to start listing things off when he said “one” then he goes “I only need one” I was like
