I think he just wanted to help Jeff do the robbery and that's it but it escalated after he called Kim

In the phone call with Kim it was just Saul arguing with himself the whole time, hearing Kim's name triggered him and that's why he decided to go back to Jeff, otherwise I think it would've worked fine

It'd be alot easier to feel bad for genes downfall if so much of it weren't so self inflicted. He got no one but himself to blame for that night scam blowing up in his face dude coulda either just not bothered with the cancer patient OR left when Jeff pulled up

don't understand the nippy hate. yeah i went into that episode thinking walt/jesse would show up but i was still captivated by the gene storyline. that's our first time seeing gene since march 2020 and yall complained

I wouldn't want to see that because that's missing the point, his time as Saul is pointless, the peak of his life was before that as Jimmy when he still had hope and wanted to work hard for a goal, Saul is a persona he made up to not deal with his trauma and do shady stuff
