Really hit me when Saul brought up Gus, Lalo, Mike etc on the phone with Kim that aside from Jesse he’s the only one that made it out of all this
and Huell’s fatass

That Jesse scene was classic idc
Dude was acting so desperate before, ready to spend on another vacuum trip soon as Jeff recognized him, only to go back into hustle mode and then suddenly devolving into a total idiot and just flat out hanging out at the victims house
S*** just seems forced idk why they felt the need to go that route, kinda feels lazy
i agree with this last part of the season feelin rushed, especially if they don’t stick the landing, but in my eyes, Saul kinda dies when he becomes Gene. Dude is a shell working at a menial ass job watching old videos of who he used to be all day
Jeff spooks him at first, and while the first instinct is for this shell of a man to turn and hide again, eventually I think the challenge energizes him and triggers the scammer in him that’s been dormant for a while now. he got a disease fr. Chuck f***ed Jimmy up but self sabotage has been a huge part of his downfall as well
He was when I knew him

He breaks into chucks house to confront him about the tape
ah yeah that makes sense, seems we are more in the black and white timeline now as opposed to the other, so it’s serving as a companion to the main timeline now
