I liked Aaron Paul's performance here than last weeks episode
Felt more like the season 1 Jesse that I remembered
the commercial in color in the reflection of his glasses
I Loved how it was THAT commercial too
Emilio cameo
It was great to see 50 year old Emilio! He hasn’t aged one bit

You know what they say about the criminal life you either end up dead or in jail. Walt ended up dead, it’s obvious Gene is going to jail.

maybe i’m overthinking it, but it’s a little weird they broke continuity between last episode and this episode, after keeping it linear pretty much the whole time. aside from the cold opens, but that’s already been established from the beginning
it’s weird that at the end of last episode, saul already met jesse and walt, and at the end of the episode he was walking into walt’s highschool. now all of a sudden we jumped back in time?
UNLESS, this is a “kim” episode, then that would make sense, but if that’s the case, why did they show gene breaking into the house and escaping at all?
i’m going to reserve my judgement until next week, but it’s definitely feeling different from all the other episodes/seasons. almost dreamlike

Bro can’t handle flashback scenes cause it breaks continuity

Gotta resist brother
This part of the show doesn't really work without watching breaking bad there's next to no explanation to why he had to retreat to Nebraska and only one episode left to wrap up his end

the flashbacks just add to the narrative of the black and white timeline, the continuity doesn't matter
