rewatched bb and bcs recently and bb got a more entertaining story and id say bryan cranston puts up the best performance in the whole universe

but bcs got better character development, overall writing, cinemtaography, directing

Depends on what you're looking for. BB is great if you want quick returns in terms of entertainment value, unlike with BCS with a completely different pace and might put off people who are used to the gut-churning chaos of BB.

I've rewatched BB and it still holds up for me, but BCS took everything that was gorgeous and inventive about BCS, then turned it up to 11.

Honestly even if kim wasnt on the phone i could still imagine them doing a scene where it starts off with people at the sprinkler place and were just confused who they are and then kim shows up in the scene and we see how it played out

Damn just peeped this connection on Reddit, not only is there the thing with Saul like "A man who has a mustache like that clearly isn't making good life choices" (and then ending up with the same mustache once he's Gene), but there's also the fact that he's got his own Jesse - Jeff's mom calls him "Jeffy."
