Wife is already suspicious and cliff has to have some suspicions himself after what Howard told him before he died (even though the plan worked out and they managed to paint Howard as an addict).

Right, it's kinda mind boggling saul didn't even try to play that card and say no telling if gus and them might see her as a weak link/loose end with behavior like that
But when you have to cram so many plots into just a few episodes these are the little details that end up getting lost in the shuffle
