Y'all think they planned the show out like this since the first ep? Or halfway through they decided to go a different direction and add Lalo and all that
People don’t realize he ain’t show up till the 4th season
crazy to think of what the show was before him
I loved it obviously but he took it to new heights

Nah they don't plan out multiple season arcs

This is why BCS will be a rough series to watch again cause it was such a slow burn in the first three seasons.
Then once the cartel gets introduced it picks the f*** up.
man said This is GUS
We're getting Eladio and Bolsa the next episode
What is his plan
Whats with all the germans in this universe
Ehrmantraut
Ziegler nem
Wexler
The neo nazis
Operation Paperclip

I don’t know for sure but Gus final scene in the show being at the place where he finally kills Elado is kind of dope.

Nah I saw an interview or something way back when season 5 was starting where Pete or Vince said that originally they never planned to have Lalo show up at all, then when Pete convinced Vince to include him in the show they were originally just planning for him to be in like 4 eps before he was killed off.
Then Dalton blew them away and the rest is history.
Similar thing with Jesse in BB, Vince originally saw him as being killed off in season 2/3, but they loved the Walt x Jesse dynamic so much they started to change their plans.

Nah Gould and them have admitted they make s*** up as they go
Kim wasnt even supposed to be a main character Rhea's performance just made them add her
Plus notice that Gus played it super similar to how he saw Nacho play it - he learned from watching that situation.
Nacho talked that s*** and controlled the speed of the situation by gassing up Hector and company, and in doing so created a window to do what he needed to do.
Gus saw how Hector reacted, knew the hubris of the Salamancas, and played the situation with Lalo to his advantage in the same way. Started talking that s*** for the camera, making Lalo feel like the big man on campus, then pulled the rug out from underneath him in the same way that Nacho did. Only difference was he had home court advantage.
It’s amazing how ironic it is that Lalo warns S&K about Gus but doesn’t follow through himself
Seen too many criticisms like the gun just popped up there for plot as if it wasn’t foreshadowed to us earlier
As soon as they went down there I knew the gun was going to come in play
Which episode did Gus put it in? The one where he was freaking out, right?

The show had way different stakes before him
I really need to watch this lmao BB is my fav show of all time and I tried to watch this early on but couldn't get into it

You should definitely give it another chance bro it's an incredible show. I had the exact same situation as yours, BB fave show then came to this and I couldn't get through the first ep. But then I came back to it when I knew I had no other distractions or anything else going on that day and I got hooked just like that and now this is my fave show ever lol. You just gotta have a little patience with the beginning that's all. Then when things start to click you're just in awe of the brilliance at work here.
