just me or was tonight’s episode kinda mid? and i’m never too critical of this show
This is the greatest episode of the series so far and I'm sure the rest of the season will be better
We are directly given 2 forgone conclusions
Kim is with Jimmy for better or worse and we know it's certainly likely worse
Jimmy's conscious and hope for redemption is completely dead and we just witnessed it.
I love the use of Howard here as a tool to bring back Jimmys development full circle and present it so upfront to the viewer
powerful episode
im worried for what howards gonna do
Nothing. He was used as a literary tool to show you how Jimmy's development has come to this point.
Think back how significant the HMM story and issues with Howard were back in the early seasons and after watching this episode and having him be sidelined (on purpose) like he is
it shows you how far gone Jimmy is at this point
Jimmy is an eternal pain and hole starting right now
This season is the rise of Saul Goodman. Sort of like the rise of Heisenberg. Each success will lead to a very deadly downfall. Breaking Bad of course shows how bad it gets for both of them. It’s interesting how arrogant Jimmy is becoming. Kind of like how arrogant Walt got in Breaking Bad.
This entire devolution of Jimmy is sad, but his narcissistic rant toward the end rooted in the feeling of inferiority stemming from chuck/howard/HMM rejection and ignited by his now expanded (dangerous/criminal) world is heartbreaking to see.
My long off prediction is I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy has Howard killed out of spite and Kim finds out
that could be a way this goes
Yo what are the best seasons in y'alls opinion? I'm getting towards the end of season 2 and its just been ok so far.
Season 3 hasn’t been topped yet. Season 5 has potential to though
My long off prediction is I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy has Howard killed out of spite and Kim finds out
that could be a way this goes
Nah. Don’t think it’s even in character with his Saul Persona.
He only advised violence/murder to Heisenberg as a last resort situation. Don’t see him getting anyone killed out of mere spite.
I'm feeling a lil more hopeful for Nacho. Well not Nacho himself but his dad. Mike's not gonna let anything happen to him, I figure. Nacho is a goner, though.

Is it purely out of spite since he yelled at Howard that he killed his brother?

Yeah this is more of what in thinking
Yeah this is more of what in thinking
It solves the question of why Kim wouldn't want anything to do with him besides her being dead.
Just watched it,they 7/7
They haven't missed a single second.
I'm praying Kim gets a good send-off I dont wanna see her die
I see Kim getting extremely pissed, getting wasted, and killing someone else in a drunk driving incident and going to jail for life. Or killing herself in the accident too

Yelling at someone and having someone off’d isn't even in the same ballpark. So yeah it is purely out of spite
Saul is also a defense mechanism from his guilt over his brother’s death because even though Saul is conning Jimmy into believing the responsibility lays on Howard, in reality deep down he knows it’s primarily him that’s responsible.
In a way i think his alter ego is a way to compartmentalize his slippin ways away from Jimmy McGill and lay it upon another person, Saul Goodman.

I could actually see this. I think showing her mother’s alcoholism was for more then we think it was for initially.
