The intention is to make it seem like he’s on coke via whatever hyper caffeine pill they got from the vet

Howard making the coffee for his wife, seeming very skilled at it, while only drinking tea for himself hints at some kind of health problem keeping him away from caffeine. Just looking at the guy and what he’s been through in recent years + age, not hard to imagine he might have a blood pressure issue or something.

I saw someone loop the jazz and classical music in as possible stress relievers for him.

I think Kim's mom was in a prior episode but I can't remember quite to what extent. Either way she's perfectly cast.

Last season around the time they got married. The young kim actress got the mannerisms down too. Love these flashbacks
