It’s a slow burn. It is so f***ing good. Cinematography is beautiful. And it might end up better than breaking bad, it’s just that good.

Also it’s more of a slow paced drama than action based like breaking bad

that was all i could ask for from an opener

there are arguments for both sides

It’s certainly got better side characters
the focus of easily two of the goat side characters in BB
better direction, cinematography

It’s just not as high thrill as BB and it focuses on what it’s strongest at.

It’s pretty close so far. At this moment BCS has episodes that are close but not quite at the level of Ozymandias

ozymandias is something else tho really makes u realize just how good breaking bad was

i feel like an episode on that level can still come in bcs, the stakes just arent THAT high.. yet yk ? could be this or next season

Chicanery is BCS’s closet episode to that level.

I think Season 5 has potential to bring that level of episode dependent on the consequences of this story.

I think Season 6 will focus on more Gene related material for the last few episodes and that could also possibly bring that kinda episode. We’ll have to see.
