throwaway threads?? weird way to think of genuine discussion

they bring more attention to smaller artists when there are threads on each release, especially when the op of an artist thread doesn’t even update title to say there’s something new out

i have this in rotation, great ambient

What if a smaller artist releases a song or single that's not part of an album? that just makes it harder for people to keep up with the artist. Making a thread for every song release serves no purpose cause it would get lost.

filtering Music sxn by artist is a new feature. you can already try it out on the ones labeled Popular Artists at the top of the Music sxn home page currently, and being able to search for artists to filter on at any time is coming soon.

for now, regular search works for finding threads about a certain artist no matter how big or small

@cut

Have you heard Fables by Isabel Pine released on Kranky this year? I recently discovered the album. Kinda reminds me of the work of Oliver Coates and Mica Levi’s scores at times.
