most nintendo games are 60 dollars besides like 2 and even then theyre priced at consumer average of 60 if you buy them anywhere but directly from nintendo lol idk why you and maxxing are playing this fine line semantics game

im not talking about the pro, im talkng about the standard most used controllers, the joycons lol which are expensive as hell 70 to 90 dollars depending on the time of the year which also break often thus youre gonna replace them spending that money often. sony current isnt a good comparison btw, theyre not doing as well as they thought they would.

"dont be mad at nintendo be mad at the economy" lol the companies are the ones that make the prices that influence the economy, nintendo is a company, no i am blaming them. funny how you guys keep making it seem 10 to 20 dollars isnt a big deal but yet also saying it is such a big deal that the hike is "needed" for them. also, part of being a company is looking at where the market is and what it can take. its not on the consumers to feel bad or automatically foot the bill to fix it for anyone. this is a two road partnership. not a charity.

and idk why the minority of yall keep acting like this 10 to 20 dollar price hike is a one time thing, you buying 2 games you are already at a 40 dollar upcharge alone. not even including everything n anything else

and do you think a family orientated audience, more than any other system or gaming platform that is also its majority, wont feel the effect of a constant additional 20 on top of the console price, the online price, the tax fees, the accessory prices, the replacement prices and then general family and multi person cost of living and bills? and that they will just accept it? LOL

no, they wont, just like they didnt take it with the Wii U (which nintendo then abandoned) and they didnt take it with the 3DS (which nintendo backtracked on and made cheaper plus gave alternatives like the 2ds on top of it) - or just like they arent taking it with the PS5 (which the ps5 is doing fine, but its selling behind the pace of ps4 and its not selling actual games anywhere near its ps4 gen - its software sales are hugely down which is a MAJOR problem) and XSeries to where the PC is the only major platform being highly successful this gen - AND the PC had its biggest era this gen in all of history of people adopting into it because of all the price gouging and hiking going on with the consoles LOL.

theyre either gonna fully blow their market up, again, or theyre going to see a way lower return on software (which is a console's main money maker) that is going to f*** them a few years in - just like Sony and Xbox is going thru it the last year or two and part of why theyre trying to rush to the next gen already, but nintendo is going to feel it even more since theyre way more family based in audience.
