I mean, yeah. It’s a Noah Hawley show so visually it’s gonna be one of the best looking shows of the year. I’d be more worried about the writing as he’s very hit or miss in that department these days

I wasn’t worried about the production value/visuals at all but at least now it’s nice to have some confirmation that they won’t suck

Truly this is a toss up for me. If this was 2 years ago I’d say this is gonna be ass cause Hawley has shown signs of being washed for a while but he bounced back in a pretty big way with Fargo season 5 so maybe he’s still got some gas left in the tank creatively

Looks pretty good

Some of the best auteurs in tv just can’t translate as well into the film medium, Lindelof is another one that comes to mind.

But yeah Hawley was the hottest thing going in tv for a while there, especially between like 2016-18 he was white hot then. We’re far removed from those days now but I guess even after several years of making mediocre s*** he still somehow managed to have enough goodwill with the FX bosses to get an Alien show. We’ll see if he can continue to beat the washed allegations like he did with Fargo s5
