reading this thread i was thinking the finale was gonna be terrible. it's good tbh not ep 5 good, but good

I am disappointed, feel like show presents everything from such an outside perspective like it is nobody's point of view, so I didn't root for any character. Some cliffhangers were cool, but mostly music at the end of the episode made me feel like something cooler should've happened for it to match.
Overall would watch 2nd season although not with such anticipation as I did that show post-2nd episode, but don't think that I would rewatch the 1st season.

Wendy is basically a synth deity I wonder if she could take one of those brolic ass engineers out

They really set up t oc in such an interesting way to have it do jack s*** in the last 3 episodes

I’m so in for season 2 frankly my expectations of this were extremely low so it being mostly solid is a good thing but it so reminds me of westworlds trajectory as a series

So, the show runners was more focused on job security than telling a good storytelling?

They coulda gotten the former from the latter.

Can't say I hated the finale. It was fine, better than the thread led me to believe beforehand. But I won't lie, it peaked at episode 5. Regardless, I'll probably be seated for season 2. Just less hype than before.

Think the show overall can be pretty good if they keep it short. No more than 3 seasons and preferrably 2. Kinda thinking atp were gonna see the logical ending to the alien franchise:
