    Ok this the wrong crowd

You think we're the most advanced we've ever been right?

your question isnt relevant. the story of the flood doesnt match with the observations from nature. sure there have been extinction events recently but those were due to human activity and climate change, not a global flood

christianity makes more sense as a mechanism of maintaining control over the public than as a religion

the most interesting and valuable aspects of christianity were described by previous religions

its a half truth disguised to maintain order over humans most likely. im not saying this from a place of esotericism as much as just a basic logical a***ysis. its clearly designed to brainwash people

ngl i chatgpt'ed what u said. it checks out tho, cus most people i know who believe in christianity reached that point after being "defeated" by the forces of the world, so it seems reasonable they might then support a belief system based around demonizing every aspect of "power" in a material sense. from what i understand Nietzsche believed that the christians worship weakness in a sense, in that being pious is greater than being human or animal

How long have alcohol companies been lobbying to prevent this from being common sense lol

I grew up Christian and honestly I need to go to therapy because the amount of irritation I get from them is unreal.

Countless people describe the type of trauma they've received from growing up that way and christians are able to just shake off any and all criticism with the same old excuses over and over.

"they weren't true followers of Christ"
    "That was the old testament"
"Gods thoughts are higher than ours so we shouldn't rely on our own understanding"

Then meanwhile, they have the nerve to have a persecution complex (I can only speak for America). Despite having disproportionate amounts of institutional power. It's legit painful to try and speak to a believer about anything really.

if you actually read the bible youll realize christianity does the opposite of control people, it lets you realize your free will, and that nothing on earth matters as long as you have Jesus and heaven

yes but the "rules" defined by the entities you mentioned are very constrictive. you cant truly be a Christian and not follow all of the moral precepts of the religion. God judges us on more than our belief in him, atleast in the 'true' christian faith, which is Catholicism.

yea exactly, while they make money and live in paradise, we sit around praying to god to bless us because we had the moral fortitude to not jerk off today

First of all who is they. Second, they dont live in paradise, i meant heaven when i said that. Third, i dont think you really comprehend the religion if thats how you perceive praying

my brother is a devout catholic. everytime i see my family he educates me on his faith. I understand a lot of the religion but it also is very contradictory and logically flawed so i dont adhere to it

I guess it depends what you deem meaningless. The core tenants of the faith from scripture are very simple imo. But i see from ur other posts ur perspective is abt Catholicism, which i cant defend bc im not catholic
