This project super fire especially considering its basically another Care Package, just done with leaks and a few other jawns. Flooding the streets with this project and then another album this summer

I've come to love Toosie too, but I'm not sure how to rank it within new songs yet.

Other projects might have higher highs but this the first one since nwts where the quality between the songs never drops. It's cohesive and at the same time has every side of Drake but dancehall.

My only criticism of scorpion was the beat selection, mixing of the vocals and rap and singing being to strictly kept apart. Dark Lane improved on all of that and kept the same quality of rapping as on side a.

Toosie is actually a really great song 👌🏾👌🏾 Word. It’s in my top 3 for the album right now.

I almost never complain about engineering impacting the quality of music but does the mastering on this project annoy anyone else?

I was looking forward to playing this in the car but it's so flat, none of the transients pop at all and the low end is non-existent.

I'd be dissapointed if that was an intentional decision for a "demo tape" aesthetic when the rest of the project is great.
