Let's be real here now, this is DRAKE. He shouldn't be concerned about Kanye, Cole, or Kendrick dropping. He's bigger than every single one of those artists. He's going to sale more than any one of those artists whether it's a surprise drop or a guarantee drop in June.

And by the sounds of his recent interview in 2020, I don't think he's going to be writing disses on album songs anymore. So he's not waiting to plot a diss track on an album.

He's 100% not happy with the product which has me slightly concerned but at least he's aware of it. He knows this will be his most critical album.

also, if he isn't satisfied with the finished product, why not say or suggest that on the announcement of the albums delay? why give the knee surgery and recovery as an excuse?

Wasn't that when Greece and Popstar dropped? Sometimes he says s*** to say s***. Plus he was drinking and probably missed the clubs that night.

Kendrick is popular and people want new music from him sure, but he's not a commercial artist. He's had maybe one or two memorable singles.

And honestly it's not even about competition with Drake at this point. We all know he's the biggest rap artist. All he has to do is prove he can make good music still.

Drake always tours albums 6-12 months after release. He tours the whole world lol

If the album dropping this year there won't be arena tours around the world regardless.

Might as well shelf the album and never started the rollout if touring like normal is the goal. S*** ain't going back to normal anytime soon
