Didn’t wanna make a thread about it, but I was really wondering, how much of the hate CLB is getting is (subconsciously) because of the cover?

The cover is the first impression ppl get of an album before listening to it. The cover looking amateurish and low-effort, might be a big reason why ppl don’t really give this album a fair chance and write it off as trash so quickly. Which is a shame cus the album itself isn’t bad at all.

I think Drake dropped the ball big time with the cover

I feel like artists like drake, Travis, ye, Jay-z are big enough that most people won’t judge the album based on the cover. Some people already go into the album hating it or liking it. I think maybe a little bit hated it right away because of the cover, but most enjoyed making memes of it and seeing brands do it too.
