as much as I love CLB and enjoy the album we got, I know what you mean. and I feel that the project you're talking about Will come eventually, it'll just take time. With Drake getting older, being a father now, taking more time with his recording process (as evidenced by the amount of leaked tracks that he releases nowadays), Drake is gradually evolving into the next form of himself. I think when he settles into a sort of new normal is when he will be able to tap into the part of his music that will excite people again.

No I agree. But I'm not talking about some gems, I mean a gem of a project as a whole. I agree some of these cuts are amazing, and definitely overhated. But he's so much better than this project.

Right. I just see people in the thread enjoying the music for what it is. I don’t think there have been any takes that would suggest anyone thinks this is drake at his peak musically and I don’t think this is his best work, but I think it’s his best project since views.
