Nah, have to say. Whatever lows this album has, I really don’t have an issue with.

Energy on this is something that’s been missing since NWTS. You can sense Drizzy was in a much better headspace working on this. Lines are witty, introspective tracks are so good also not a project that was crafted for the radio, felt far more organic than Scorpion.

CLB isn’t NWTS and it’s not a TC it’s its own project and s*** is a masterpiece IMO.

These are the kind of things that social media has corrupted about the art form. That might be an old head take but it’s still true. It’s all about metrics, sales, records, posts, lack of posts etc. everything but the music.

after a few listens i can safely say that the run from the intro aka champagne poetry to no friends in the industry is absolutely flawless. So far the only songs i dislike are part of the second half of the album. Knife Talk, Fountains, 7AM and f***ing fans haven’t hit yet.
