Drake just made a drake album for fans only and ppl that don’t even like drake are listening and tuning in to it? It’s literally for drake fans only basically

I think the biggest problem with me on the initial listen is that I had expectations of a shorter more concise project. That Drake is gone… at least for now. I can still love this album for what it is. Definitely music to evolve to on here. This is where Drake is at in his life and we can’t expect him to be that version of drake in our heads

By being controversial I mean, when drake drops, it’s always like such a wide variety of takes. Unfortunately on social media, the people saying it’s mid and trash seem to be more vocal. Whereas for example like another artist drops, some people might say mid or not feeling it, but most people say positive things. I always feel like people are way more critical with drake than any other artist tho. They’re like ready to trash it and go in with the wrong headspace, rather than an open minded one.
