Y'all keep bring this up but I don't understand this freshness point at all as if Vital can't be updated like Not Around is and this freshness aspect is only for us, the majority of people who are going to listen to the album will not have heard Vital. Vital isn't just great it's one of his best songs in a very long time and type of song that everyone will be impressed with and it's been a while since people were impressed with a Drake song. Why is that not the priority? We have gotten a lot of music from Drake the past two years. We know this nigga can make hits. Drake NEEDS songs like Vital that show more musical and emotional maturity and relatability.

I just don't get why y'all care about freshness that much as if Drake is Kendrick and hasn't released anything for like 3 years. You guys telling me you wouldn't have wanted Dreams Money Can Buy, Club Paradise and Trust Issues on Take Care because of freshness? Because guess what we got f***ing Make Me Proud, The Real Her, We'll Be Fine, and Practice instead. We got 305 to My City instead of 5AM In Toronto and Jodeci Freestyle. We got Peak and Ratchet Happy Birthday instead of Diplomatic Immunity and Duppy Freestyle. We got No Long Talk and Skepta's Interlude instead of Two Birds One Stone and Sneakin'.

I don't know if you noticed but Drake's albums have the major flaw of him having songs that just don't deserve to be on them over other songs he for whatever reason didn't put on them and that has caused the albums to not be as well received as they could have been and I'm tired of it. Some of you are really optimistic that whatever "fresh" song he got on there are all going to be as good or better than Vital and if history as shown anything I have no clue why y'all believe that. I just want him to have an undisputed classic album at this point in his career man I can give a f*** about this flawed freshness point you guy keep bringing up.

Some of you are really impatient. Drake has done this before for example the last studio album . He made God's Plan his first single in January and the second single came out in April the album came out in June which he said in January. It's not a fake rollout, it's his understanding of the climate we are in. Also, he doesn't need a number one to drop an album he's done only 2 albums with a real number one. He doesn't have to inform us every two seconds about the album that's the same s*** Carti fans ask for and then get disappointed.

I been saying this and lncl has been out almost two months last we heard was 90 and 40 setting up new speakers to mix he mixes all the way up until release . But I’m chill cause I don’t wanna overreact about this . Just doesn’t feel right to me. Also been two months since the 90%. I wouldn’t care if he wasn’t finished just keep me updated. But it is what it is . Guess we got to see more merch stories and everything else but the album until this nigga says something 🤷‍♂️
