could be for a number of reasons:

1. Nothing has been set in stone quite yet so Drake has chose to stay quiet til he 110% with the plan moving forward. Even if he doesn’t exactly know I’m sure he has a date in mind but alot goes in to releasing an album, even if its “finished” it’s not. Legalities and sample clearances have to go thru, mixing and mastering has to be done, etc. All that type of stuff is not operating on definitive dates. 40 be mixing til day of ffs.

2. he’s keeping all things close to the chest so no industry f***ery can sabotage it

3. surprise drop, tho i dont see it. Views’ cover came five days before release. We got Scorpion cover and a date 2 weeks in advance so we’ll see what happens this time

5. He’s tryna align with something else like ....cough... SNL 👀 Prob is the furthest thing from the truth but just throwing it out there that it could be centered around other things promo wise

4. it’s simply not finished and fans and this thread are living under false perceptions and it will be coming a little later than expected (by fans, cause Drake hasn’t exactly promised anything). But it does feel like we in #HomeStretch phase. Wonder if he’ll upload one of those posts this year

It could be one of those or none of those but I feel it’s close. We just gotta be patient. Truthfully album may not be done I don’t see why he would sit on a finished album if he had a release date already established just me it would of been announced already but r a few weeks . Noel said we would have to wait on the last 10 percent back when we were having updates their wasn’t any hunger now we have no updates at all after that 90 percent update . Take your time I’m all for it but atleast can we have some updates a tease or something n no not no merch tease the merch tease is annoying at this point come release date real fans may not even have a chance cause so many ppl want his album merch and the site it’s releasednn n on may crash I just want a update even if he decides to drop in November just give me an update or something is all I’m saying my hype isn’t dying tho not going that far

The merch being posted and single are giveaways that the album could be somewhat imminent (within next couple weeks). Don’t think we’ll be waiting that much longer.
