    I think it’s weird when people talk about subject matter when it comes to music. Music is about the sound.

    I get it. The experience can be amplified if the subject matter is relatable. But sometimes you just have to appreciate a song for how it sounds rather than whats being said.

    Even then How it’s said > what’s talked about.

    Think about it. We listen to a lot of artists who tell stories about the same s***. D****, money, racial tensions, etc. it’s always better when someone does it in a creative way rather than some basic lyrics/bars.

    All this to say. Not around slaps. Doesn’t matter that it’s about a stripper

    Never said I didn’t like it because it was a stripper song, all i did was point out there was a stripper song on NWTS

    but my take on the song is it was just overall a weaker song/not really needed on an album where every song was amazing

    Ehh I would take 305 over SFTB but that’s just me. Never really cared for that song. It wasn’t the best musically and lyrically. So that’s why im shocked to see 305 as the worst

    It was never overplayed for me so it’s not that im tired of it lol just think it’s one of his worst. The verses are insanely short nd mid, hook isnt catchy, beat is ok, nothing extravagant on a project that has exceptional production. Flow is Tired and basic. Just me though

    305 is a story. Just not his lmao. And I said when music originally started. Early music has almost no words.

    And I acknowledged that it’s better when a relatable story is attached but that’s only sometimes.
