Similar thing with the whole "Dababy's manager isn't approving the Jail 2 verse" thing - it was actually just that the label and people close to Kanye didn't think it was a good look but were too scared to tell him. Dababy's manager said he only got 1 request and approved it instantly

My theory is that he wanted plausible deniability for why he didn’t drop the same day as Drake. This way it seems like he wanted the smoke but the label stopped him.
