Yeah I agree. But maybe cover arts don’t matter and it’s more about the music. Idk

It’s a new decade. I’m down to switch it up and do something new. He’s had professional covers with himself on it the whole time. Might be ready to switch it up

I know. People can say album covers don't matter but they do. The covers for SFG, TC & NWTS are all iconic. Hell, even the cover for Comeback Season is. You can have them on vinyl placed in your house and people will immediately recognize them. The covers for Views and Scorpion are less iconic but at least they don't look horrible.

I don't know what changed. He clearly had a different vision for the album and it's visuals just based on that trailer but it's like now he's just rushing to put the album out and going with whatever.

Of course we'll still bump the music and that's what really matters but it's just disappointing to see that he pretty much phoned in the album cover when he really didn't have to. Especially for an album that he's spoken so highly about. I don't know.

2 years from now, we'll look at that cover and we'll all cringe.

I doubt Drake has ever done it but it's not uncommon for artists to send albums out to critics before it's officially released to the public. Whenever you see Pitchfork and most other publications have a review for an album ready the day it dropped, that's why.
