I assume he's gonna drop a new single so I doubt he does it the same week as a weeknd single and kanye album. Before streaming people would sit on their albums for months, could easily see him waiting until late aug to start the rollout at the earliest

i really don't think drake even cares about commercial success for this album so I wonder how much he cares about that

if he cared about numbers we'd have another single by now or at least an interview or some kinda cool s*** on IG. Compare The Weeknd's IG to Drake's lmao it's actually funny how little Drake seems to care. Drake hasn't even posted the words CLB on IG for a long ass time now

I feel The Weeknd starts some of his song writing processes with “How do I make this another radio hit”

Whereas Drake has a more natural process to it..Hotline Bling for example..was never supposed to be a hit

Some of his recent singles just sound manufactured as f***. Can’t really get into the sound

Older stuff is good, though

I mean take in that Drake dropped the Scary Hours 2 EP the same week that Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber were dropping. Those are both big pop artists that have scored multiple #1 debuts in the past but Drake still dropped anyways and even had a song predicting in the lyrics that his song would go #1. I don’t see how the Weeknd and Kanye would be any different competition to him.
