Would love to see a change of perspective. Scorpion, More Life and DLDT have meh covers in my opinion. The music is awesome tho.

DLDT is his best cover since NWTS. I think it perfectly encapsulates the cold, eerie vibe of the album and the state of the world in which it was released in.

What other artist basically influenced his entire "underwater/filter/sofargone" vibes that he still uses to this day on every album. Even 40 admitted itSade, Aaliyah, Little Brother, Lil Wayne, Jay Z. Several other artists he's mentioned as influences.

Comparing So Far Gone to 808s and Heartbreak is lazy. All Drake did was rap over a beat off that album. 808s dropped November 2008, by then most of So Far Gone was complete and it dropped 3 months later. How could Kanye influence a sound that he himself never used?
