I think drake said in an interview during the NWTS era that while making that album, he didn’t usually start rapping on a beat unless he was serious about using it for the album so there wasn’t that many cuts that weren’t used. (Probably relatively speaking compared to his other albums where there are probably tons of songs that were vaulted)
