This rollout - If we can even call it that - is such a mess. I don’t get what drakes plan is, there’s rumors and the possibility of a random surprise drop within the next few weeks but with all this anticipation and everyone waiting on him to drop the surprise just doesn’t work. You could say we been in the rollout szn since lncl but my god what a boring one it’s been - not release wise but entertainment wise. Scary Hours 2 and LNCL were cool but this dude is doing nothing at all with it except releasing 2 videos. The merch and whole CLB branding kinda felt half assed aswell even though it had and still has insane potential. Ofc one could argue that the pandemic been a huge factor but just look at his socials, doesn’t look like my guy is abt to drop at all and the hype isn’t really here either. Seems like he doesn’t care cause he knows he got it back up soon as he says something again. I definitely don’t get the feeling of a pre views era for example and it’s making me sad. Really wanted drake to try hard for this one in every aspect. Hed win me back with a single + video next week and proper rollout for a late september release with promo everywhere.

We're at the tail-end of it now though

The messiest moment was by far the aborted January release date, but since then I think he's played his cards fairly well

Scary Hours II was a decent precursor and offered up a little bit of something for everyone, including a sleeper hit with Wants & Needs

LNCL still is a great song, but dropping peak-pandemic hindered it a lot, I'm still hopeful it'll end up on the final project

I think that as long as we get it in the next 4 weeks he'll be on favourable terms with everyone. Another pushback now, even to September personally, would be very frustrating
