I mean, it’s been 3 years since his last real album
DLDT was mostly a compilation of music leftover from that era
I just see him taking long breaks like this in between albums more often, never retiring
I think “albums” as we know it have less meaning than ever. Sour was 7 tracks and barely half an hour. Views was 20 tracks and over 80 mins. I feel like since he doesn’t have to deal with Birdman and gets more money outside of music than from music, why rush to make music?

LoverMan 93Anybody feel left in the dark about the direction of this album? I think we generally get a idea of how its gonna sound sonically and the overall outlook. Not being in the know makes the wait worth it.
It’s gonna sound like the best songs in DLDT imo.
