Delaying AW2 to avoid both Mario & Spidey hype cycles seems to be working out for them. I feel as though they’re dominating the gaming mindshare this week.

If only they did this for AW1 back in 2010 to avoid RDR1 lmao

The gameplay & world of Control will lend itself naturally to a multiplayer context (as opposed to Alan Wake for example).

I doubt the FBC agents have powers like Jesse so it’s going to be really interesting to see what Remedy will be cooking up for Condor’s gameplay.

You should be able to level up an FBC Agent to a Director tbh. Hell yeah, Control lends itself very well to a multi-player experience, lets see Remedy cooks.

Wouldn't hurt, great game. I'd call it a high quality AA game

Control is one of my most favourite games in recent years, so it’s an essential for me.
But according to Remedy, you don’t need to play it to get into AW2

I’m predicting (barring performance issues) that the game is gonna land at around an 84-86.

Control managed an 82, and while the game is great, its budget constraints were very obvious, whereabouts AW2 looks to step it’s game up considerably in terms of environmental and gameplay variety, and overall presentation.

Criticisms I’d imagine will stem from possibly being a little long in the tooth, lack of enemy variety and its esoteric narrative. Also, again, potential performance issues a la Control (pre ultimate edition).
