Can’t 100% win when it comes to the SB

Honestly I think he brought a creative and refreshing vision to the SB that will age better then just him doing an easy greatest hits set.

Only thing I wish was better was the audio mixing, which was flawed and problematic during the live broadcast.

Not about crying. As a fan I love the beef. However, I can think objectively this should have been Kendrick’s moment of excellence highlighting his music and his legacy - Not his beef with Drake.

Weeknd did slip in a couple of his older songs to play devils advocate but it was obvious Kendrick’s intention was to be PRESENT and very current with his set. Disliking his approach is more of a subjective thing than an actual flaw.

It looks like Kendrick hate for Drake knows no bounds. While his is a great artist and his songs in the beef were good he simply won because of the industry’s backing.
Every winner in combat should know when to show some mercy and humility. Kendrick could’ve just stuck to performing his hits and bringing out people like Keem, Schoolboy, Ab-Soul, and Rock, but instead, he turned the moment into something about another man.
The real loser here, is Serena Williams. She’s so upset with Drake that she went up on stage to Crip walk, even though her sister was killed by the crips. She’s married, has kids, and Drake is still top of mind.
Let’s not forget Mustard who went triple styrofoam on his album. Kendrick couldn’t even tweet it.
All this s*** does is set Drake to be considered an underdog. People love a comeback story and this will only make him bigger if he returns with a classic. A man backed into the corner has nothing to lose

NLU wasn’t the whole show, but they were so scared of their favorite artist being humiliated, that that’s all they could think about during the show.

That whole “Serena sister was killed by crips” is the dumbest narrative and ignorant. One Serena never claimed a set fool, she ain’t throw up any gang signs. And using the death of someone’s family as a “gotcha” is weirdo behavior.
