Has there ever been an artist at their commercial peak to do the show? I've always thought it was reserved for legacy artists.

Thankfully Kendrick, who gave hip-hop its biggest moment of the decade jumped at the opportunity to perform for free for the formerly racist football organization

The K-Pop poster no one knows is a dumbass and now is spiraling

Professionalism definitely plays a part i feel

Wayne did WM and was terrible, and that was for a wrestlers entrance performing one song

You gotta assume suits will look at s*** like that and think ‘can we trust him to rehearse the s*** out of a superbowl performance?’

This isnt me saying he wouldnt have deserved it, but just seeing how these corporates will look at it

Kendrick on the other hand is probably the most professional and meticulously grande performer in hip hop rn

Yah that nigga was soundin all off pitch and out of breath at WM and that was just 8 bars of A Milli

His tour from two years ago broke records. So it’s not computing. Did he fall off just for that month or what?

Now I've had multiple convos with my dad about the NFL's issues all the way from his time, and how performative their current actions have been over the past years.....but I don't get why some niggas act like once you get to a certain level as a black artist, you're immune from using a negative platform to spread good through it

I never said he fell off completely, but Morale didn't perform well. Was there something about my post on the last page that was inaccurate? Lmk!

You said Kendrick is at his peak. Peak based on what?

    DAMN. Out sold moral
    But morale tour outsold damn’s

This time he only has a song that’s doing well so what are you measuring his peak by?

Seems to me like he never fell off and yall just regurgitated that to hate.

Maybe decades ago but in the last 10+ years, they've tried to draw in relevant artists to boost their numbers.

Might drop another thread about Sissy Boy. The way he disrespected MJ in FPS just don't sit right with me.

He nearly convinced the world he’s the next Michael Jackson...shii ridiculous.

So by your logic, his biggest song trumps his biggest album and his biggest tour

Therefore it makes it his peak.

    Got it.

I'm not sure what you think a successful tour has to do with his commercial peak.

Elton John just finished his tour in the year 2024 and made $1B. You'd be an idiot to think his peak was in 2024 and not the 70s. Same with Coldplay. Established artists are doing huge tours rn lol.

lil baby's peak was a 4x platinum album btw
