Ah yes an event worth billions that plans its own venue years in advance would for some reason not have its halftime performance also lined up years in advance.

All vendors, contractors, screening, coordinators and the likes just get called up one random Friday 6 months before.

C’mon Kendrick knew. We even had him at a dinner and he had a private show mid last year with Jay and Beyonce. That’s what people who are planning to go into business with each other do.

Sometimes I have moments I think damn maybe Kendrick is dragging it a bit and being obsessive and risks making his legacy about this beef.

Then I remember Drake is the reason people are spreading edited picture showing the mother of his children with a black eye, then it makes sense why he must embarrass Drake every chance he gets.

Not a lie. Kendrick has probably been offered before now and turned it down. The NFL struggles to find people to do the halftime show. Drake turned them down for the 2017/2019 halftime shows. Kendrick likely got an offer after the success of the DAMN era and turned them down for the 2018 show. Taylor Swift has turned them down like a dozen times but they keep asking her to do it every year lol. They saw the success of Blinding Lights in 2020 and made the Weeknd an offer to do the 2021 show and he accepted.

Also, the only thing people are angry at is that Wayne isn't getting to perform at his hometown city. That's all. LA hosts the Superbowl in 2027. Kendrick could easily take that spot.

Basically, any major star who hasn't done the Superbowl hasn't done it because they chose not to, not because they weren't offered.
