yeah every woman at the time started out as part of a crew or a like the "main rap guy's chick" but theyre ties or ön a dudes shoulder "type of look were more earlier on than when they finally popped - one of the few that avoided that but to also be fair Trina and Shawanna were techinally around since the late 1990s so they just had a longer paper trail n connect bigger than most of the "new" women at the time

I feel like Yachty, Uzi, Carti, X, Juice, Peep and a few more are legends are this point. Like bro we still talking about them and uzi got his first billboard in like 2016, next year thatll be 9 years. Saying they’re not legends is discrediting all the influence they have had in that time and all the fans of them. But maybe its too early and it needs another few years cuz saying they arent legends would be like me in maybe 2015 saying Tyler isnt a legend. Yachty? Why? He has a solid career but he’s done nothing extraordinary besides have hit songs every now and then. He got a big boost being around Drake and getting features these past few years but he’s had no solid album or sound to even give him that
21 savage, same with yachty. He also got a huge boost to his career being with drake but would’ve been fine wi the out him. But still, he’s just popularity. No noticeable album or sound that has influenced the genre
X, Peep and Juice bias aside all died extremely to early to say. They will be highlights of their generation regardless
Kodak is amazing but he just has solid hits, no standout albums or sound. Him being the most popular rapper to come out south florida sound doesn’t make him a “legend”
But ultimately this is subjective like I said. I think you are getting to caught up in sales and popularity in the moment
