The video i saw on twitter...
was it the completely burnt up body being carried ?
yeah that settles it ima just stay my ass on the ground like all the old folks did. and I KNOW more die from car crashes than plane crashes but i cant imagine being THAT helpless approaching the end like that. at least in a car its possible you can have a last ditch effort to avoid some bullshit on a plane you just got to sit there and watch it all happen.
its funny but im one of those people who wouldnt wanna own or drive a car primarily out of fear of accidents because i feel like i know sooooooooo many and they were so widespread in my life. i got hit by a car when i was little too. i remember being mad worried about parents coming back from out of town trips because news back in the days would be all about road accidents
i get fear of flights on that level but also plane crashes are just not that widespread plain and simple. maybe its because i was around people who would fly literally every week that im kinda jaded towards it
Can’t believe that guy survived
Do you know how f***ing lucky you have to be
That feeling of knowing everyone else around you died gotta mess with you for the rest of your life though
was it the completely burnt up body being carried ?
Yeah I'm p sure it was on the gurney amongst the debris
F***ing insanity

Yeah bro gotta become a philanthropist after that
Do we know how he jumped out? Did he jump out the emergency exit?
Didnt he pass out?

Something like this happens so fast though i dont think there's any time to feel helpless
But tbh i hate flying either way. Need to hit that retirement age and just do cruises like my moms

Think I'd rather be dead

Very true. If there's even a slight issue on a plane, your chances of dying automatically shoot thru the roof. In a car, it's really only dangerous if you're going over like 35 or some big ass truck just comes flying into you.
yo the sole survivor mannnnn. like one person out of the 200 plus people that died, he was the ONLY one. he wasn't even in business class, he was right behind it. what the hell man
Do we know how he jumped out? Did he jump out the emergency exit?
He didn’t jump out
He was unconscious for a minute and walked out

Might be even crazier
The preliminary report heavily indicates one of the pilot's cut off fuel to the engines - holy s***..

How is that possible with 2 pilots?
How is that possible with 2 pilots?
The chilling part is one of the pilot's said "Why did you cut off fuel?" and the other replied "I did not." I'm an Aircraft Engineer so this specific switch isn't like your room light - you have to physically lift up a metal lock and move it to "CUT OFF" and there are mini bearings beside the switch that prevent any accident where a pilot's finger slips and hits it.
Now we don't know which one did it - the one who cut it off and is trying to shift blame in his final moment OR the one that actually did it and is saying he didn't.
One of them did turn it back on after noticing the issue but this was right after take off which is way too early to be losing thrust so it wasn't enough. Engine 1 was regaining power but it was just too low to the ground.
