People aren’t gonna stop making good music because of AI. So what if people are listening to AI garbage, people listen to human garbage. “Oh my god they’re listening to soulless ai music! I can’t believe they’ll listen to that instead of generic white pop star #433! Whose entire image, backstory, lyrics, and production is made up by someone else!”
The best music has always come from artists before they get/who never get popular, ai not changing that.

Yes, and no.
The transformer model design was invented in 2017 by Google. Companies like chatgpt create their own transformer models. So what you’re seeing now is ~9 years of the technology being rolled out and improved. Marketing departments just advertise like it’s a new revolutionary technology but it’s been here for awhile. I was playing around with ai in 2019.
Unless you’re talking about something else.
