I think if you followed the whole context of this album (which I did haha) with the divorce, how she went through 2 years of depression and anxiety, trying to cope with how she’s going to explain this to her son, her friends cheering her up with wine, etc. it REALLY does hit hard

if I hadn’t followed anything about Adele’s personal life I would have thought that it was a regular Adele album
