The only ones who were actually competing directly with Joey was Daylyt and some D lister west coast rappers and Soulos wasn’t even a diss. There was no goalpost to begin with.
Joey is the only one from the East singlehandily even bringing any life to the genre atm. West Coast has people paying attention, like it or not because they got the energy and great music outside of some friendly competition. Maybe Joey can battle Ice Spice for the crown when it comes to NY though
