Summary of the Relli cross examination so far

1. Tacopina played the blurry video from the second altercation on Vista del Mar.

2. He asked Relli if he could tell what’s happening and Relli said he could. Tacopina challenged that. He said Relli met with detectives in Dec 2021 (Dets. Flores and Menefee). During this meeting, Relli supposedly said he COULD NOT make out what was taking place on the video. Tacopina is about to roll the video tape.

3. Relli said that it was grainy he was seeing the video for the first time with the detectives but things were clearer after the third or fourth time

4. Tacopina is minimizing Relli’s purported injuries from that night and implying that they possibly came from other sources.

5. Taco: shows pic of knuckles “That’s your entire injury from that night”

Relli: Trump got hit in the ear and it was a little graze.

6. Taco: asks about d*** use

7. Taco then got into the prop gun/planted shell casings theory.

Relli said Parker went with him after the shooting (to the 2nd location) and she was next to him when he was taking pics of the casings. He later said he can't really describe exactly where she was when he was taking the pics but she was with him that night.

10. Then we had a break. The attorneys got the courtroom fighting and casting it up about d*** use. Also, the DA said the picture Taco showed Relli has one purpose and that was to "enrage the witness or prejudice the jury" and that if he tried to do it, he would probably be reported to the bar. Taco just yelled "SHE IS A PROSTITUTE" and "stop Protecting her". Is that on video? This is different.

11. Really chaotic scene in court with the jury gone as Rocky's lawyer Joe Tacopina and Deputy District Attorney John Lewin yelled at each other.

Lewin called the prop gun defense "garbage" and Tacopina said they'll find out what the jury thinks. It got really heated.

13. Tacopina asks Relli if he had fired a gun prior to 11.2021. Relli said no. Tacopina plays a video of Relli shooting at a shooting range on October 2021. Relli said the range may be located in Jersey but it wasn't in L.A.

14. Tacopina asks Relli if he told Det. Horace that on the night of the incident, he called attorney Brian Hurwitz, who told him to return to the scene and retrieve the shell casings. Relli said he doesn't remember then he said he didn't talk to Brian until the day after the shooting.

15. Tacopina asks him why he waited two days after the incident to talk to the police. Relli said he was waiting on his lawyer. At the time (11.8.2021), the police asked him why he waited and he told them it's because he's not good with the police.

16. Relli just listened to a 2nd recording that is likely between himself and an IT guy named Wally or Wale'. For the second time, Relli said the recording is fake so Tacopina can't introduce it because he doesn't have anyone to authenticate it.

17. Tacopina asks him what PERMANENT PHYSICAL DAMAGE did the incident cause him. Relli said NONE.

18. Tacopina asks if Relli believes Rocky is found guilty in the criminal case it would be an automatic win for him in his civil case. Rellis says something like he doesn't know anything about that and now we're on another break.

Wait so Relli owned a 9mm gun and also gave the police the 9mm casings that they couldn't retrieve from the scene? Also they couldnt find any 9mm firearm in Rockys home?
