He clearly still making noise in the rap game. His face at the forefront of rap
Plus, it’s been less than 3 years brother
This thread INSANE
LiveLoveASAP and AtLongLastASAP are miles better than anything Uzi has made
I disagree but I’m not mad at this take
I’m talking top 5 of the 2010s
Two albums in the 2010s and you’d rank him above Nicki?
Cole really never changed anything, his current place is just killing features we talk about for a few weeks, let’s see if he really delivers with his album though

Why you kill s*** with rapping, you don’t have to change a ton. You heard the Off Season nigga

I really don’t enjoy most of her s*** but I can def see her impact, that’s a close one that I wouldn’t be mad at either way

I don’t listen to her either, but she has to be up there. I probably listen to Rocky more but that’s not saying a lot.

J. Cole put out one classic 9 years ago and it's not better than MBDTF, Take Care, TPAB, ALLA, or DS2 lol

Well if we’re talking most influential of the 2010s Rocky is def above Cole who imo has always just been a good rapper with some pop appeal, has never experimented or really made something interesting imo
Off season was a decent album
He clearly still making noise in the rap game. His face at the forefront of rap

he has jumped on some songs by some major artists yeah.
i hope one day he makes the album he's capable of making.
If I had to make an "objective" 2010s top 5, I'm reaching for
Factoring in influence, popularity, and creative peaks together, I can't see how you could even argue against this
Travis or Migos instead of Rocky
J. Cole put out one classic 9 years ago and it's not better than MBDTF, Take Care, TPAB, ALLA, or DS2 lol
his classic was like 12 years ago and isnt even an official album

this is the correct jermaine take

You don’t think 2014 FHD is a classic?
Travis or Migos instead of Rocky
What ye said about Travis on drink champs was real, idk how you can put Travis in this when most of his 2010s work was a combination of other artists influence
You don’t think 2014 FHD is a classic?
Were it not for its cultural impact I wouldn't really consider it one either. Good album but plenty of better ones in its lane exist
You don’t think 2014 FHD is a classic?
it's a good album. maybe great. not classic.
cant have some of those cornball lines and a song like wet dreamz and call it a classic
Rocky influenced way more than Cole and has a better discography, although if I was to choose who could kill a feature rn I’d choose Cole but that’s about it
Rocky does not have a better discography, stop it
Rocky does not have a better discography, stop it
Give me LiveLove and ALLA over any Cole album
I’m deceased people talking down on Cole when this dude Rocky afraid to drop an album ctfu
Rocky does not have a better discography, stop it
Rocky easily has a better catalog than Cole lol
1) AtLongLastASAP
2) 2014 Forest Hills Drive
3) LiveLoveASAP
4) Testing
5) J. Cole's discography
You don’t think 2014 FHD is a classic?
Bro these niggas will downplay Cole at all costs. S***s sad. I remember one of my older homies WENT OFF on me in like 2012 when I tried to do the same cause I didn’t understand how impactful he was to college kids at that time
