Listened to the eight songs yesterday and to other eight songs today, and I enjoyed some hooks, production, sound design, but for me ASAP Rocky is kinda like Travis Scott. In a sense that it is all about beats and sound but I don't vibe with him much as a person like I do with Action Bronson or Tyler the Creator. There are good songs/ideas, but maybe I am too biased, that's why it is kinda hollow for me. It is like listening to TLOP but without Ye.
This, Rocky is too hallow for me and feel I’ve out grown his music but he will always have a great ear for beats and have the visuals on lock
With that said, it does sound like it’s on the better half of his discography
Just gave this a 2nd full listen, and yea this is really good.
I like how the album is split down the middle with the second half being way more experimental, a lot of dope sounds in the second half
This project definitely starts the year on a good note, hopefully this sets the tone for other hip hop projects this year
Fire album dog, s*** goes crazy in the whip
Tbh I think this is an album that’s meant to be played in the whip.
Previously I wasn’t sure how I felt about Punk Rocky, but even that grew on me a lot more after hearing it on my car speakers
I didnt like that frank verse
Def gets overrated bc people were surprised frank can rap/flow
Best first week sales 15 years into your career
Shouldve bet on that polymarket saying hes selling 75k

This is awesome good for him.
Someone said Rocky is the Mike Tomlin of rap and damn man that’s crazy
Niggas hating for no reason
I swear this level of Rocky hate did not exist before you know what
Stfu coulds been amazing but as of now just sounds like an assortment of ideas
