Good mainstream album to start off the year but hate how safe it is for asap rocky album

Had to switch my mindset to Danny brown mode for STFU

Dumb direction imo

Why go safe if the mainstream public will hate on it either way, as they automatically do with every album that is hyped? And you don’t depend on music to make your money.

Might as well have gone completely experimental and do whatever you want.

So far better than Testing for me, few misses but some absolute bangers. Only halfway through so we'll see

yeah this not all that but still a pretty serviceable album

testing clears this all day long

still don’t wanna judge it prematurely though i’m sure a lot of it will grow on me…. but all in all a lot of interesting moments on this, will definitely have to let it marinate for a while

First listen and I don't like most s*** on this album. There are too many things going on in every song.

Pre chorus, chorus, bridge, hook, distorted production, beat switch, skit, etc. Gonna give it a couple more listens for sure but had to put it down for now.

Playa, The end end Fish n Steak is what I was able to enjoy immediately. Everything else was a tough listen.

Rocky has given me enough to be forever solidified and is one of the artist that had a huge impact in molding my taste.

at the very least i will definitely have some highlights to take away from this album, the highs on this are very good

some of the clear standouts for me on first listen

loved the stop snitching + stfu combo as well, air force (black demarco) definitely deserves a mention too

and then there’s still helicopter
