Pretty dope we're getting a Rocky and Cole album within a month of each other. Hyped for both tbh

And before there are any Cole fans who start b****ing and moaning it ain't even a knock to him.
His albums are usually straightforward and easy to get into. Some people don't care for the added gimmicks or experimentation. Cole makes safe hip-hop for a casual audience and it has worked for him.

The Fall Off is exciting though because it’s not just another Cole album. It’s his supposed retirement album that he’s been teasing for almost a decade + it’s his first project since the events of 2024

Imma be so real, I stopped caring about J Cole after KOD and have heard very little from him since that has convinced me that I am truly missing out.

Fair, I feel you
J Cole to me is the same as Joey Badass.
Sure, they aren't bad rappers. They say some real s***. There's just so many other rappers in the mainstream and underground who fill their lane of hip-hop I would much rather listen to over either. Rapping wise, production wise, and conceptually they are way more interesting, experimental, and all-around better.

You're correct. Some people just enjoy the simplicity and honesty to his music
