I don't hate Rocky at all. I've seen the man live in concert 5 times. Live. Love. A$AP, Long. Live. A$AP and At. Long. Last. A$AP (to a lesser degree) are some of my favorite rap releases from the 2010s. He was one of my top 5 most played rappers yearly back then.
I'm just amazed at how progressively worse dude has gotten as a rapper. It's almost commendable. Right when I think "nah, his next single HAS TO BE halfway decent at least," he drops another dud. I just don't get it.

Yeah, but to me, between the two, the music should always be the strongest. The music is what should inform the quality of the music videos. Dropping dope music videos to wack songs isn't a sustainable career strategy.

John MauveRocky isn't the most lyrical rapper ever obviously and he has his share of stinkers but he can write pretty evocatively when he wants to. This part of Suddenly comes to mind, creates a good image:

The 15 tracks are what are included on the physicals, while the extra 2 tracks are listed as "disc 2" on streaming services - presumably tracks that weren't included when the physicals were being printed but which he's decided to include since then.

Yeah, he puts zero effort into rapping now. I think he just likes experimenting with new sounds at this point
