Rocky isn't the most lyrical rapper ever obviously and he has his share of stinkers but he can write pretty evocatively when he wants to. This part of Suddenly comes to mind, creates a good image:

his feature for Jean Dawson, his verse is really good, people underrated him when he puts a really good verse together, like purity where he’s pouring his damn heart out

Listened to his albums again. ALLA and Testing are without a doubt his best projects. His debut mixtape didn’t really age that well but the nostalgia on that tape keeps it in my heart.
