But maybe he feels like that would be too easy and wants to be all experimental. I respect that
thing is, he’s not great at being experimental imo. He has flashes in the pan with some songs but others like the hippie joints he does just sound kind of half baked to me. It would be cool if he stuck to like 2-3 diff vibes and made them cohesive instead of doing the jaden smith s*** where he mixes like 5 and 6 different genres on one album.
I feel like he did it well on ALLA but lately he’s been on that Testing type of vibe

Rocky is simply too beautiful to be an ideas man tbh. His art is experimental for him in the same way that a high school quarterback might experiment with a big starring role in the school play

it's all opinions but I feel like he is, Testing is amazing to me and I feel like dean blunt's vision on it marrying his sound with rocky's is so singular and perfect. it all comes down to who's spearheading the collabs
