You ask an avg music listener I’m sure they would tell you they hardly listen to him and or heard 90% of his discography. I don’t think it’s a bad thing I just think it’s what it is. Being on KTT skews a lot of our view on the industry and culture. Someone like Rocky is big to us but I don’t think the avg listener knows or would care enough

imma say this just once: never said he was CLOSE to my GOAT, he ain't, imo. but in terms of the SPIRIT of the ARTIST who creates their work THEMSELVES with their bare hands and inborne talent, while also having a highly unique vision+commercial critical acclaim, there aren't many artists in mainstream music today let alone hip hop that can even say they're CLOSE to my GOAT, but i'd say tyler is following that spirit, and especially stands out amongst his peers who can't even operate a keyboard let alone create albums themselves. that's ALL i said. by this barometer jpegmafia who i aint really a fan of much fits this description too. artists that follow the SPIRIT of PRINCE in the way they create and the ambition in what they do, not that their ART ITSELF or their skill is necessarily comparable or that either of them are necessarily as excellent and singular as MY GOAT.
